Bereket Asart has been deeply immersed in soccer since the age of 9, developing a profound understanding of the game. As a varsity player at Northwood High School, he honed his technical skills and strategic insight, building a strong foundation in both on-field performance and tactical knowledge.

Beyond playing, Bereket served as a referee in Takoma, gaining a unique perspective on the game. This role taught him how to manage diverse groups, handle conflicts, and make quick decisions with clear communication. It also instilled a deep respect for sportsmanship and fairness, values he carries both on and off the field.
