Summer Camp Structure​​

Proprioception Training

Awareness of the position and movements of the body. Coaches will concentrate on coordination, scan to plan, soccer related field movements, positioning and understanding how to move efficiently on the soccer field.

Strength and Conditioning

Coaches will work with participants on how to improve physique. Participant will work on different body muscles that don’t require the use of weight. This approach will include the use of resistance bands, medicine ball, push-ups and core body strengthening.

Speed & Agility

The focus will be on Footwork, agility, explosiveness, anticipation and reaction with/without the ball. Session attendees will be trained through a series of cone and latter drill to improve the speed and movement of the athlete with a ball.

Ball Mastery

Through extensive ball work drills, camp coaches will focus on improving the athletes confidence on the ball. Participants will learn different techniques on the ball to enhance and add to their skill set.

Games

Players will also engage in Possession games and intra camp scrimmages to enhance training progress.

Sportsmanship

The coaches will focus on teaching the kids fair play and sportsmanship, listening and fellow teammates.
